  Global companies often face data governance gaps from fragmented tools and inconsistent KPI definitions. At MCM, I initiated and built a merchandising warehouse and shared semantic layer, owning requirements, stakeholder coordination, dimensional modelling, ETL, deployment and maintenance. It standardised cross-market analytics, reduced weekly reporting preparation and enabled self-service analytics.

  Companies running analytics across multiple cloud systems need reliable data refreshes: failed loads, duplicate records and invalid data can undermine reporting. I engineered a BigQuery-to-Snowflake ELT platform with Parquet ingestion, a dbt medallion architecture and Airflow orchestration. This independent simulation uses idempotent reloads and data-quality tests to keep analytical datasets current on schedule and prevent duplicates and invalid data from reaching downstream reports.

  Business questions often depend on connections between entities that individual records cannot reveal. I built a Neo4j knowledge graph of S&P 100 equities and 318 relationships, with a GraphRAG interface combining FAISS retrieval, natural-language-to-Cypher translation and schema-aware query validation. Users can explore company and sector relationships without writing Cypher—a pattern also applicable to supply chains, fraud analysis and recommendations.

  Public datasets contain commercial signals that can help sales teams find and prioritise prospects. For a medtech use case, I integrated EU research-funding and clinical-trial data, filtered projects by therapeutic-area keywords and built a Python/Streamlit app with rules-based relevance scoring. The tool turns these sources into a prioritised list of institutions and trials for targeted prospecting.
